YEP Enriches – A Summer of Discovery!
This summer, YEP Enriches truly made waves, successfully hosting our Summer Camps for ages 7-15, collectively serving 141 campers. Our youth enjoyed a free, fun, safe, and educational experience packed with diverse activities, from field trips and swimming lessons to cricket and pickleball.
Notably, our Enriches kids also demonstrated community spirit by volunteering at Second Harvest, packing 515 food boxes for senior citizens. We proudly launched new partnerships with the New Orleans Academy of Fine Arts Art Bus for creative expression and the Audubon Nature Institute, offering behind-the-scenes tours and early career exploration.
For our Teen Campers, the experience was further enriched by a visit from UFC fighters who came to speak, providing powerful inspiration. They also received vital academic support, college and career insights, and financial literacy, preparing them for a confident return to school.
