YEP Educates kicked off the fall by welcoming the Ochsner Westbank Clinic team to our Westbank site for a day of refreshing and reorganizing the space for participants.

Their time and effort is greatly appreciated and a wonderful example of the many ways in which community members and partners help strengthen the YEP Educates experience. From creating a welcoming place to learn to offering encouragement and support, volunteers play important roles in helping participants feel connected and supported as they work toward their educational goals.

We’re especially grateful for longtime volunteers like Ms. Toni, who has generously shared her time with YEP over the years. Her continued commitment is a reminder of the lasting impact that volunteers can have within our community.

We also want to recognize the dedicated team behind YEP Educates. During Staff Appreciation Week, we celebrated the staff members who support participants through every step of their educational journeys. Their patience, encouragement, flexibility, and belief in what each learner can accomplish help create an environment where participants can stay focused on their goals and celebrate their progress.

We’re thankful for our volunteers, partners, and YEP Educates team for helping make learning spaces where participants feel welcomed, supported, and ready for what’s next.
