The video also features local two local New Orleans rappers, Y. Luck and K. Gates. YEP staff decided to create the videos as  a fun and interactive way to engage Village students and to create a tool help the youth to reach out and encourage other young people who are out of school to come to YEP to pursue their GED.

On May 7th, 2011 youth from YEP’s Afterschool Enrichment Program took part in National Lemonade Day, a nation-wide event that teaches kids the skills they need to be successful in the future.
