Catrina was born and raised in the St. Thomas Housing Development. She had three children by the age of 20. She’s the proud mother of two teenage daughters, two sons; a teenager and a four month old. Catrina graduated from L.E. Rabouin High School, she has a Bachelors of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Southern University at New Orleans, where she is currently working on a MSW Degree. Catrina is dedicated to helping at-risk youth change their lives through mentoring and modeling positive behaviors.

70 percent of YEP’s staff members are born and raised in New Orleans and the vast majority grew up in the same neighborhoods that our youth live in. Our staff members’ personal understanding of the challenges that our young people face make them uniquely qualified to provide support to YEP youth.
