James is a lifelong resident of St. Charles Parish. At the age of 17 he enlisted in the US Army and served his country on foreign and domestic soil. After his tenure of service was completed he entered law enforcement and enjoyed working with the youth of the parish. In 2012 James became a member of the YEP where he plans to use his past experiences to encourage young people to make positive life decisions. James is focused on building meaningful relationships with the kids while giving them the skills needed to be successful in today’s society.
